This chapter is written so you can point students at it directly.
Logging in
Use the Student tab on the login screen and enter the access code your teacher gave you. There is no signup, no password, and no email. The app will never email you.
Before results are released
You will see the evaluate screen for any open evaluation: your teacher’s instructions, the rubric for reference, a self evaluation if it was enabled, and your list of classmates. Tap a classmate to open their row and score every criterion; the rating saves automatically once each criterion has a score. If you did not work with someone or cannot rate them fairly, leave them unrated. You can revise or remove a rating until the evaluation closes, and the “Rated X of Y” count shows how far along you are.
After results are released
Your login switches to a results view for that evaluation:
- your score on each criterion, with the class of evaluators’ average and how much they varied,
- your General Average and its Verbal Interpretation,
- a chart, including your self assessment overlaid if you did one,
- any written notes your teacher approved,
- the rubric, a disclaimer, who generated the report, and when.
What you will never see
- Individual evaluators’ names or which score came from whom; everything is aggregated.
- Anyone else’s results.
- Your results at all if fewer than 3 peers evaluated you. In that case the app withholds the report; ask your teacher if you think this is a mistake.
